If you don't want a header above your layout go to the coding at the bottom called .headerimage and change the height to 0px rather than 300px.

I got the sidebar going, so thanks bunches! If you have time it would be cool to have a fixed header but that's up to you, I'm loving this layout!! Also, I was wondering why the background tiles? Can I changed it so it just has the background sitting normally?

For the background change this at the beginning of the code:

That might stretch it and it will be strange. But you can see if you like it.
