This community is to help me and others find ways to make their journals look how we want them too.

I wouldn't say I'm an expert at messing with layouts though I have figured out a lot about Flexible Squares. If you have a question please feel free to ask me by commenting below.

Couple Rules:

1. And example of your problem or what you want done to your journal.
2. Sometimes it can take me a little while to find the information asked for, so please be patient.
3. I don't do slash-y type things (ie headers). I can still provide you with a layout but then header would have to come from somewhere else.
4. I'm not currently taking requests for requests but I'm more than willing to help you figure out problems with coding.

LJ is dropping the ball a little and so community moderators aren't getting their comments. So if you don't hear back from me in a few days head over HERE to let me know if you need any help.

I have made some progress and I would liked some input at this time.

You can head over to workshop_rees and see it in use. I have the background of the entire layout as these lines but I can change it to have the numbers like the header if you like. You can actually see this image if you go into the post that has your name on it.

Let me know what you think of the header. I didn't want to do head shots but I was having trouble with blending so I opted for boxing them... let me know.

Don't be shy telling me if you don't like something. We want this to be exactly how you want it.

Also you see in the header link that layout lounge one is only in mine and will completely disappear when you put this in your journal. I wasn't sure about tiny icons. We can leave them off or change them how you like.

I'd say this is almost completely perfect!!! I like the lines because it is definitely Numb3rs but I think I would like the numbers like in the header instead. The colors are absolutely perfect!!! XD And I adore the header.

Can I have the links, page summary and all that on the right side of the layout rather than the left. I don't remember if that's something I can change or if it has to be in the coding.

I'm so excited to get the finished product you have no idea. I really do love what you have here! I can't wait XD

Although would it be possible for the writing on the links/summary/thatstuff to be the same font as the "ramblings of a mad fangirl" in the banner?

You want the actual links to be fancy like that or are you talking about the titles (which will change) like "Links", "How Things Will Looks".... what about the subject of entries?

I think the problem with that font is it only really looks good when it is BIG. So the alternate texts that others will see will be huge.

I suggest Pea Alesa which I uploaded to the font download you can get to from the links here.

Add that to your comp and go over and look now.
