LiveJournal has shared an About LJ video which the would like opinions on. I think the video is pretty good though you all might have some more helpful suggestions for LJ.

I didn't know about this video but I really like it.

Overall, I really like the direction LJ is going to right now. I'm actually looking forward to see new updates. That recent communities page update was great.

I have to agree about the negativity in news posts. It's like some people just go in there without actually checking the content and reply with some kind of insult.

In the end, which social media platform actually asks their users and listens to them like LJ does now? Nothing comes to my mind immediately.

Me too. I'm so glad they are working on making LJ a good and fresh experience.

It is true and upsetting.

It is so true and people comparing LJ to other platforms isn't fair because it really is unlike anything else out there except maybe Dreamwidth which I'm not just that big of a fan of.

Layout Change Quick Guide

If you like Flexible Squares, I have tons of layouts for you, and still create them.

I've been creating Layouts for DW's Transmogrified. Here's how to use them:
1. Go to Transmogrified Layouts.
2. Choose Basic.
3. Go to Custom CSS.
4. Make sure all boxes are unchecked
5. Copy Coding to Stylesheet Box.
6. Make sure to update with your own images/image urls. Imgur images are okay to be used.
7.Click Save.
