This community is to help me and others find ways to make their journals look how we want them too.

I wouldn't say I'm an expert at messing with layouts though I have figured out a lot about Flexible Squares. If you have a question please feel free to ask me by commenting below.

Couple Rules:

1. And example of your problem or what you want done to your journal.
2. Sometimes it can take me a little while to find the information asked for, so please be patient.
3. I don't do slash-y type things (ie headers). I can still provide you with a layout but then header would have to come from somewhere else.

I've seen around different Livejournals, on the sidebar there is a list of the tags that's been used like this (http://cupidsbow.livejournal.com/) one. I'm trying to find the code of how to do it, but I am a little lost. Would you be able to help me?

What theme are you using? Flexible Squares? Smooth Sailing? etc.

So you are looking for a tag cloud instead of a list?

Yes, a cloud where the titles are different sizes.

Part of your problem is in your CSS coding for the layout.

Find this
#tags_sidebox {
font-size: 0;
}

You can change the font size or replace that coding with this...
#tags_sidebox { text-align:center; }

You can change center to left or right too.

As for the cloud where the tags are different sizes. This isn't something you can do in Smooth Sailing without having a Paid account.
