I tried to change to this layout, but it messes up the width of it and the sidebar is off.

Not sure what to do~ >.<

I couldn't figure out why there's a brown background in the middle at all. >.<

And I have this green in the background of the post, which shouldn't be there at all or I don't want it to be there, I just want white. I'm currently using flexible squares. Do you think it might have to do with my journal style? Even with Autumn there's this block of color in it.

The green issue is the ad placements for LJ Plus accounts. I would change the ad placement to vertical to move it to the sidebar.

IT's FIXED!!! YATTA!!! I would never have guess that it was the ad placement since I always put it at horizontal instead of vertical cause I don't like to see it at all. But thank you thank you for telling me! ^^

How do I add a header image for the title of my comm?

At the very bottom of the coding is the section for the Header image. You can put the url into one of he url() list. Make sure to make the width and height equal to the image.

There are two url() so you can layer if you like. Here at this comm I have the background of the lights and then the Layout Lounge logo over it. Whatever you want on top should be first.

One more question... How do I get multiple sections on the sidebar like you have? Sections beyond the standard links, tags, etc. I want to write a blurb and include community rules under 2 titles.

At this journal I have links, free text and tags. If you put a title in a links section without a link to it, it creates another Titles section in the links.

Anything beyond that is going to require a paid layout and some style modifications.

You can create everything in your Free Text and style it with coding there like this...
