Easy Fixes You Might Not Know About

No worries. We'll find the answer.
So not everyone is a LiveJournal expert (I swear I'm not either). And, of course, there are those out there that are learning this all for the first time. So here are a few things that have come up that I hope will help beginners and people who just hadn't figured it out yet. And yes, this is the second such post. The first just had a ton of comments and I wanted to clean things up.

Making A Layout: Header Section (Navbar) & HeaderImage

Account Status: All
Theme: Flexible Squares
Actions: Creating Your Own Layout: Header "Navbar" Section
Links: Code Index // Position at W3Schools.com // z-index at W3Schools.com // Background & Header Images Tutorial

The links at the top of your journal are contained in the header section of your coding. This doesn't include your header image but you can put it in this section. I tend to have mine at the bottom so it is easy to find. Your header image is controlled by the coding for headerimage. These two elements will effect each other.

Fixed Header Image

Actions: Header Image Fixed with entries scrolling under it
Theme: Flexible Squares maybe more

As you can see the top of the entry is under the header image but only because I scrolled up so you could see this feature.

LJ Changes Mess Up Your Layout a Bit?

So I don't know what the PTBs over here at LJ are doing but they've screwed up so stuff again. I don't know if you are noticing your Tiny Icons are all messed up. Not only that but Rounded Corners are all reverting to the squared look. Tranistions and Transform of header links on some of my recent layouts is also messed up. Here is an attempt to fix some of LJ's bugs.

Tiny Icons:

This above picture is the issue I discovered. Notice how my cool Super Mario icons are present but you can see the generic LJ icons as well. Thank you for this LJ.

Changed Comment Links, Currents & Header Link Titles

Account Status: All
Actions: Changed Comment Links, Currents & Header Link Titles
Theme: Flexible Squares (not sure if it works with other themes)

You've changed to Flexible Squares and have done the Customization of your Theme by inserting a layout code from Layout Lounge or another layout design community. You noticed that the links at the bottom of your posts say comment. You want to make them say something that reflects the new layout you've begun using. (Case in point... this journal uses thought? rather than comment and 2 thoughts rather than 2 comments.)
