If you don't want a header above your layout go to the coding at the bottom called .headerimage and change the height to 0px rather than 300px.

Header can be changed
Background image can be changed or removed.

I'm running into two things:

No sidebar on mine, not sure why.

And is there a way to fix the header so it stays on top while the journal scrolls?

There should be no underlining for the subject. I would check your browser settings under Tools>Options>Content>Color (firefox). Your browser might have it set to have links underlined.

If that is not where the issue is coming from try adding the below line to the subject coding.

text-decoration: none;

I should do a tutorial on that.... hmmm...

Essentially what you would do is copy the FONTS section from the Oxygen layout and paste them over the FONTS section of this layout (Tabby). Then you would find the different places in the layout you want to change and change the first font in the font-family.

Sounds more complicated that it is which is why I did some of the changes over at

workshop_rees. Let me know if this is what you were after or if there is something else you want changed.

Still loving this layout so much! I haven't changed anything in my code for ages but sometime last month the bottom placeholder for the ads just exploded upwards and is now huge...I just can't figure out why it suddenly does that? Any idea?

Yep. This is a result of some LJ updates which made me have to figure out how to fix the coding. The coding above in this post is updated to fix it but if you've customized it for yourself... there is a tutorial of how to fix this problem....

Can this work on anything other then flexible squares? I really love this design, but we no longer have flexible squares to use it.

Wow, sorry I haven't been around in a long while. If it is flexible squares labeled it has to be used with that and only paid members can use those... see my tutorials. I have a couple others but I'm going to work on making some old layouts for LJ if you are still interested. Just follow this community and hoping I'll get one up soon.
