I have a question about the header though. I'm trying to change it and I wanted it to blend in so I used the same texture as you used for the background. I uploaded it to see if it worked and even though it's the same texture it looks lighter than the background (you can see it in my journal)

Is there anything that I can change in the css for the header to be the same shade of grey (haha) as the background ?

I think the simplest method would be to change the header. Instead of making the background the same as the journals background. Make it transparent and save it as a png or gif file.

It looks like you need the url and parentheses around your image link. The link at the very beginning of your code under the body section should read....
